The Australian Journal of Otolaryngology (Aust J Otolaryngol; AJO; ISSN 2616-2792), launched in January 2018, is a peer-reviewed scientific journal, and the Official Journal of the Australian Society of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery. AJO has been indexed by Scopus in 2021 and Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) in 2024. It aims at providing a forum for clinical researchers, basic scientists, clinicians, and others to publish original research and explore controversies in the medical and surgical treatment of patients with otolaryngologic disorders, including head & neck cancer and disease of the skull base.

The announcement of the journal’s latest impact factor is not only a significant achievement for the journal but also the recognition of its more significant scientific reach. Here, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our Editorial Team Members, authors, and reviewers for their significant contributions.

We look forward to the continuous cooperation with all the individuals mentioned above and those who are interested in otolaryngology to bring more exciting content to readers in the coming future.
